Our Teaching Adventure

We four friends have decided to share our different cultural experiences as we endeavor in our student teaching. Jake and Kailey are on a Navajo Reservation while Kaitlynn is in an Urban school for the first 10 weeks and in Ireland for the last 10 weeks. Lastly, but certainly not least, Brooke is in a rural school for the first 10 weeks and in Greece for the last 10 weeks. We can't wait to share our experiences with our friends, family, and people around the world! :)

I made it!

I have finally made it to Many Farms, AZ where I will be teaching 5th grade at Many Farms Community School, tutoring kids in the dorms after school, serving breakfast, and creating fun activities at night for the kids in the dorms making my days around 14 hours long. Woof! But this view from my backyard sure does make things easier! Nothing but sand and mountains around me! More to come later! - Jake
